By downloading, accessing, or using iRevisit, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or this website. These terms are written for the currently reviewed iOS build and should be updated when the product or support model changes.
1. Agreement and eligibility
You may use iRevisit only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law and may lawfully use your device, its operating system, and its photo library. If you use the app on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
These terms apply alongside Apple's applicable media, device, App Store, and operating-system terms. Where Apple or another platform provider imposes requirements for a system service used by the app, those requirements may also apply.
2. What iRevisit provides
iRevisit is a memory companion that uses permission-controlled access to the system photo library to present photos and videos related to the current calendar date in prior years. It also provides local controls for saving, hiding, annotating, browsing, sharing, and, when you request it, deleting selected media through the system photo library.
The reviewed build does not require a user account and does not include a subscription or purchase workflow. If future versions add paid features, the price, billing terms, renewal conditions, and cancellation instructions will be presented before purchase and may be governed by separate terms.
3. Permissions and your media library
Some app features need permission to access your photo library, camera, or location while the app is in use. You control those permissions in iOS. Declining or limiting permission can prevent some features from working or reduce the media available to the app.
iRevisit uses your photo library as supplied by your device. It does not replace a backup strategy. Keep independent copies of important photos and videos and review your device's backup settings before taking actions that affect your library.
Deletion requires care
When you use a delete feature, you select the media to be removed and authorize the app to request that the system photo library delete it. You are responsible for confirming the selected items and for understanding the recovery, Recently Deleted, sync, and backup behavior of your device and photo service. iRevisit cannot promise that deleted media can be recovered.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the device and media library you connect to iRevisit, the choices you make inside the app, and the information you provide through any support channel. Use the app lawfully and respect the privacy, intellectual-property, and publicity rights of people represented in your media.
- Do not use the app to violate law or to interfere with another person's device, account, or media library.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app, website, or contact endpoint except where applicable law permits that activity.
- Do not submit harmful code, spam, or misleading information through the contact form.
- Review permissions and selections before taking an action that can change your photo library.
5. Your content and sharing
You retain the rights you hold in your photos, videos, notes, locations, and other content. These terms do not grant iRevisit ownership of your personal media. You grant only the limited permission necessary for the app to access, display, prepare, and process the media locally on your device in order to provide features you choose.
If you use the system share sheet, you decide whether and where to send the selected content. Once shared, the recipient or service you choose may handle the content under its own rules. Confirm the recipient and content before completing a share.
The iRevisit name, app design, website design, software, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the app under these terms, no license to those materials is granted.
6. Service availability and updates
iRevisit depends on your device, iOS permissions, your photo-library availability, and platform services. A feature may be unavailable, display incomplete results, or behave differently when media is missing, stored remotely, restricted by permissions, changed by another app, or unavailable through the system library.
We may modify, maintain, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app or website where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, platform changes, or product development. We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we cannot guarantee that every feature will remain available in every version or region.
7. Disclaimers and limits of liability
iRevisit is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms, including warranties of uninterrupted operation, suitability for a particular purpose, and compatibility with every device or media library.
To the extent permitted by law, iRevisit and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or media, arising from use of the app or website. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be disclaimed, or rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Where liability may be limited, the aggregate liability relating to iRevisit will not exceed the amount you paid for the app or service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the event, or 20 USD if you paid nothing, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow all limitations, so this section may not apply in full to you.
8. Changes, termination, governing rules, and contact
You may stop using iRevisit at any time. You may also remove the app from your device. Removing the app does not by itself remove media in the system photo library, and you remain responsible for media changes you approved while using the app.
We may revise these terms when the app, website, legal requirements, or support practices change. The revised terms will appear on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use iRevisit after revised terms take effect means you accept them to the extent permitted by law.
These terms are governed by the laws that apply in your place of residence, except where another jurisdiction's mandatory law applies. Before bringing a formal claim, please try to resolve the matter in good faith through an available support channel.
The current contact form validates and acknowledges submissions but does not retain a message or create a monitored support case. A verified support channel must be added before it can handle a request that requires a response.
These terms are a product-specific draft, not legal advice. Obtain qualified legal review before publishing iRevisit in a jurisdiction with requirements that apply to your business or users.
