How iRevisit works

A familiar date, seen anew.

iRevisit is designed around the moments already in your system photo library. It uses the date and media information available on your device to present earlier photos and videos for the current day.

01

Browse the day

With your permission, iRevisit looks for photos and videos matching today's month and day in previous years.

02

Make it yours

Favorite memories, hide items from the app, add a note, or create a manual record. Those choices stay in local app state.

03

Share with intent

When you choose to share, iRevisit hands the selected item to Apple's system share sheet. You choose the destination.

A clear boundary

Built around data that stays close to you.

The app uses permission-controlled access to your photo library. It may also use your camera or current location only when you choose a related feature. It does not include account sign-in, advertising SDKs, or usage analytics SDKs in the reviewed build.

Photo library

Used to find, display, and optionally delete media you select from your own library.

Location

Used only for the location-related experience you request, including readable location data attached to media.

Local storage

Used for settings, favorites, hidden items, manual records, and temporary previews needed for the app experience.

Network check

A one-time launch connectivity request is made by the reviewed iOS build. It is not used to upload your library.
